Anderson, CPA
Specialties: Small
business and personal taxation and consulting; tax consequences
of stock options; tax compliance for non-profit organizations
Bio: Anne
began working with Jeanne Max in 1987. She works in many areas,
but especially enjoys and specializes in small business and
personal taxation and consulting.
Anne was raised a Navy brat. She was born on
a United States Navy base in the Philippines and moved every
two years, crisscrossing the U.S. She arrived in San Diego
in 1980 to attend San Diego State University and, in 1984,
she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.
After graduating, Anne began her accounting career in private
industry, quickly shifting to public accounting the following
year. She received her CPA license in 1990.
During her career, Anne has cultivated knowledge
of small business operations from transactional accounting
through financial statement preparation, including payroll
management. This experience makes her uniquely qualified to
consult with both the small business owner and his or her
staff. Her approach of offering timely bookkeeping and payroll
consulting, as well as coordinated tax planning throughout
the year, enables Anne to better assist the business and its
owner in meeting financial goals.
Annes time away from work is spent with
her husband Dave and their two children, Paul and Katie. Anne
enjoys sewing, baking, completing word puzzles, and watching
old movies. Since the birth of her first child in 1999, she
has discovered and enjoys honing her previously hidden talents
of molding clay, reading aloud, cleaning carpets, and singing
lullabies, albeit to a very small audience.
